    As you know that GST Registration is not mandatory for every business entity but those with an annual turnover of more than 20 lakh rupees for the supply of services and 40 lakh rupees in the case of a supply of goods are required to take GST Registration Online mandatorily. Remember this threshold limit of turnover varies from place to place.     GST Registration Service Charge

    GST Registration Time Limit

    The GST Registration time Limit is 7 days but We usually take 3 Days to provide Online GST Registration Certificate. As Increased the time period to approve the grant of registration to the applicant from ‘three’ working days to ‘seven’ from the date of submission of the application for the registration. Increased the time period for issue of notice in Form GST REG-03 (Notice for Seeking Additional Information / Clarification / Documents relating to Application for (Registration/Amendment/Cancellation) from “three” working days to “seven” from the date of submission of the application.

    GST Registration Process to Apply Online

    As we know, the GST registration process is now fully online, and a GST number can be obtained by following the process:

    Visit GST Website: Go to the GST website, www.gst.gov.in, and select REGISTER.

    Generate TRN: Fill out Part A of the registration form, providing details like your PAN, mobile number, and email. Verify the information using OTPs sent to your mobile and email to generate a TRN.

    Complete Part B: Log back into the portal using the generated TRN. You will need to fill out the detailed application form (GST REG-01), which has ten sections covering various business, promoter, and bank details.

    Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of all the necessary documents, such as proof of business incorporation, address proof, bank details, and photographs of promoters and authorized signatories.

    Aadhaar Authentication: You have the option to authenticate your Aadhaar. This can speed up the verification process and may remove the need for a physical verification of your business premises.

    Submit and Verify: Submit the completed form using a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for companies and LLPs or an Electronic Verification Code (EVC) for other entities.

    Get Your GSTIN: After a successful application, the tax authorities will verify your submission. If approved, your GST Identification Number (GSTIN) will be generated, and you can download your registration certificate.

    GST GST stands for Goods and Services Tax. It is an indirect tax that has replaced many indirect taxes in India such as central excise, VAT, CST, services tax, etc. The Goods and Service Tax Act was passed in Parliament on 29th March 2017 and came into effect on 1st July 2017. As per GST principles, Business entities need to register under GST and obtain a unique 15-digit GSTIN. This has replaced the Tax Identification Number (TIN) allotted to businesses by state tax authorities for registering under the VAT system.     ARN Application Reference Number - It is the number you get after filing the GST application and you can use it to check your application details.

    DSC Digital Signature Certificate - It is a certificate that acts as proof of the identity of individuals in digital space and protects data.

    Mixed Supply Mixed supply is when two or more individual supplies of goods and/or services made together by a taxable person for a single price (when it does not form a composite supply).

    Composite Supply Composite supply is when a supply consists of two or more goods and/or services, which are naturally bundled and provided together, where one is the principal supply.

    Continuous Supply Continuous supply is when the supply is provided at a specific interval (eg. weekly & monthly) and the payments are made accordingly.
